Employment OpportunitiesCity of Bloomfield - Swimming Pool and Ball Program Swimming Pool – Applications are now being accepted for Manager, Assistant Manager, and Lifeguards at the Bloomfield Municipal Pool. Manager and Assistant Manager must obtain a pool operator’s license and be at least 18 years of age. Those accepted for employment must obtain Advanced Lifesaving and CPR certification before start date. Applicants not currently holding necessary certifications should get information on training as soon as possible. All lifeguards must be at least 15 years of age upon completion of training. Summer Youth Baseball and Softball Program – Paid and volunteer opportunities are available. Anyone who has an interest in coaching, preparing fields, or being an umpire is asked to contact city office. Bloomfield Community Foundation Inc.An affiliate of the Nebraska Community Foundation, was formed to be a vehicle for charitable contributions for projects in and around Bloomfield with tax deductible donations. The Bloomfield Community Foundation originated from the Bloomfield Development Corporation in 2001. The new organization is capable of receiving tax deductible donations. The Bloomfield Community Foundation believes that many residents want to donate to the community but do not know where to donate to. The Foundation will allow people to donate to an organization that has one purpose, to help Bloomfield and its area grow and expand. You can have your gift designated to a specific project or make it an unrestricted gift. Here is a list of ways you can give to the Bloomfield Community Foundation:

Bloomfield Good Samaritan Center is the local nursing home in Bloomfield. Located in the Northwest section of town. They currently employ over 80 employees. NorthStar Services is a business that provides services for developmentally disabled adults. Their offices are located in the south section of town. They currently employ over 70 employees. Bloomfield Community Schools is the elementary and High School for Bloomfield. The schools are located in the Southeast section of town. They currently employ over 40 employees. First National Service Center is an inbound Credit Card Service Center. It is located in the north part of the business district in Bloomfield.
